At Brush and Anvil, we bring your tabletop worlds to life through custom miniature building, professional painting, and 3D-printed terrain. From Warhammer and Marvel to Star Wars: Legion and beyond, we craft high-quality miniatures, terrain, and gaming boards tailored to your vision. Every piece is designed with precision and creativity, making your games look as epic as they play.

Building

Getting your miniatures and terrain assembled to a high standard is the first step to creating an army or board you’ll be proud to play on. We provide full assembly services for miniatures, kits, and terrain pieces — ensuring each model is cleaned, prepped, and ready for paint or the battlefield. This includes:

Cleaning and preparation: Removal of mold lines, sprue marks, and flash to give a clean, professional finish.
Assembly and customization: Models carefully built according to the instructions, with optional customization where desired (posing, kitbashing, or conversions upon request).
Magnetization: Magnetizing weapons, arms, or parts where appropriate to give flexibility in your games.
Sourcing options: Clients may provide their own models, or we can source kits on your behalf to save you time.

Your miniatures will be carefully prepared and delivered ready for painting, basing, or straight onto the table depending on your project needs.

Painting

We offer two painting levels to suit your project - whether you’re looking to field a full force or showcase a striking centerpiece model.

Troop Level – A clean and consistent tabletop standard designed for gaming. This level features neat basecoats, washes for depth, and simple highlights or drybrushing. Models are finished with basic scenic basing, decals, and a protective varnish to keep them durable for play.
Hero Level – Perfect for characters, leaders, and standout pieces. This level uses advanced techniques such as layered highlights, smooth blending, and detailed finishing touches to bring out every feature. Models include scenic basing with extra detail, decals, and varnish, creating a polished look fit for display or the tabletop.

Both levels are fully customizable with your chosen colours and basing themes, ensuring your miniatures reflect your vision.

3D Printing

In addition to miniatures, We also offer high-quality 3D printing for gaming terrain, buildings, and gaming boards. All prints are made using durable materials and finished to be sturdy enough for repeated tabletop use.

We maintain a collection of printable buildings, scatter terrain, and modular gaming board pieces suitable for a wide range of games and settings. Clients can request access to a catalog of available prints in the “Get a Quote” section, and select from:

Fantasy and sci-fi themed buildings
Modular ruins, barricades, and terrain features
Complete gaming boards and tiles, tailored to fit your gaming space

Each print can be provided as raw resin/plastic for hobbyists who want to finish them themselves, or fully cleaned, primed, and ready for painting/assembly. Larger projects such as full boards can also be discussed on a commission basis.

Not Currently Taking Commissions

At this time, we are not accepting new commissions due to a large backlog of existing projects. We aim to reopen commissions in late 2026.
